Senior Neurological Physiotherapist

Lily is a senior neurological-vestibular physiotherapist with a strong clinical focus on complex vestibular conditions (such as PPPD, vestibular migraine, Mal de Debarquement Syndrome, Semi-circular Canal Dehiscence, BPPV and vestibular hypofunction), concussion assessment and management, and neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury, Multi-Systems Atrophy, Parkinson’s Plus, inherited ataxias, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke and neuro-oncology.

 Lily has extensive experience in assessing and treating dizziness, balance disorders and concussion and is co-lead of the ACC Concussion Service programme at Rope Neuro Rehab. She has completed advanced courses in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management and teaches introductory vestibular courses at Rope Neuro Rehabilitation.

 Lily graduated from the University of Auckland in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) and then pursued a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy), graduating in 2019. During her studies, Lily was awarded a Summer Research Scholarship from the Neurological Foundation NZ at the University of Auckland. Lily completed two years of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working in the combat sport setting, before deciding to pursue neuro-vestibular rehabilitation.

 A large part of Lily’s work includes working in partnership with her clients. Building a genuine relationship with her client is key, whether they are long- or short-term clients. She believes that mindset is everything, and when accompanied with trust, a genuine partnership is cultivated.

 Outside of physiotherapy, Lily enjoys coffee as her beverage of choice, laughing loudly, thriller movie genres and being outside!
