Shannon Webster

Neurological
Physiotherapist

Shannon is a New Zealand-trained physiotherapist who completed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) at the University of Auckland in 2019, before going on to earn her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from Auckland University of Technology in 2023. During her studies, she was awarded a Summer Research Scholarship through AUT in partnership with Stroke Foundation New Zealand, where she explored the role of environmental enrichment in stroke rehabilitation.

Shannon’s interest in neurological and vestibular physiotherapy stems from her fascination with how the brain and body work together to create movement. Through both her academic training and clinical experience, she developed a strong interest in movement neuroscience and the complexities of the nervous system. Shannon is passionate about supporting people to improve their function, confidence, and quality of life through meaningful, goal-directed movement.

Outside of the clinic, Shannon has a strong personal interest in movement and physical challenge. You’ll often find her strength training at the gym or bouldering at a rock-climbing gym. Her enthusiasm for movement extends beyond her professional practice and continues to shape her approach to rehabilitation.
