Neurological Physiotherapist

Leah graduated from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom with a BSc degree in Sport and Exercise Science. During her undergraduate degree, Leah did a year’s work experience in Auckland, New Zealand. Leah returned back to the UK and completed a MSc Degree in Physiotherapy. During her MSc, Leah completed 4 placements in varying areas of neurorehabilitation, including private settings, in-patients, community, and pediatrics. During this time, she was able to gain experience with lots of different neurological conditions, and ultimately found her passion for neurological rehabilitation.

 Leah returned to Auckland, New Zealand in 2023 and started her career in MSK outpatients setting, gaining experience in treating a range of conditions, in different locations. Including experience with frailty, falls prevention, injury prevention and return to sport. However, she has decided to follow her passion and work specifically in neurological physiotherapy. Leah is passionate about enhancing movement and promoting health and wellbeing. Where she values a person-centered and goal-based approach to rehabilitation.

 Outside of work, Leah enjoys playing netball, gym, spending time with friends and family and also exploring the beautiful New Zealand.
