Clinical Expert- Spinal Cord Injury

Lillian graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2007 and started her career at Middlemore Hospital, including work in acute neurology and the spinal rehab unit. She has since gained experience working in the UK in a variety of areas including rehab units and community teams working for clients with complex neurological conditions.

Lillian returned from Australia in 2017 where she was establishing a new physiotherapy service for Spinal Life Australia for clients with spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions.Upon returning to Rope Neuro Rehabilitation Lillian has enjoyed using her experience working with clients with Spinal Cord Injuries to help many clients to make functional gains.

Lillian works with the Duncan Foundation providing assessments and treatment for people with Late Effects of Polio and Post Polio Syndrome. 

Lillian has a depth of knowledge and experience with many neurological conditions and enjoys working with clients with Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and Other Neurological Conditions.

Lillian has particular interest in Upper Limb Rehabilitation and works closely with the Upper Limb team to help improve function and sensation.

Lillian also does supervision with other Neurological Physiotherapists to help them increase their skills.
