Morning and afternoon tea will be provided on both days

Vestibular Rehabilitation- An Introductory Course: Content

  • Anatomy and Physiology of the Vestibular System
  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional vertigo- Theory and practical sessions on assessment and treatment techniques
  • Central vestibular system –theory, assessment tools to screen for dysfunction
  • Unilateral and bilateral vestibular hypofunction – pathology, assessment and treatment
  • Other causes of vestibular problems
  • Assessment and outcome measure tools for dizziness and balance
  • Concussion – vestibular implications and screening
  • Case studies
